Subject: Backing Plates for Gunnel Rod Holders

Location: TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA		I want to get some backing plates made up and I do not have access to my boat right now. Does anyone know what size plate will fit in the gunnels on a 218 wac??

Peter: I can't remember if Sailfish boats come with Lee rod holders, but if they do, why don't you just buy some Lee backing plates? $15 each (medium) at marine.com. Btw, they're stainless, and 3 1/2" by 4 3/4".
